Sackett Hall has four kitchens on the main floor that are available for resident use 24/7. They include a full-size refrigerator, freezer, oven, cooktop, sink, and microwave. Cooking equipment is available for checkout from the front desk. In addition, each floor has a small kitchenette with a shared microwave for resident use.
Sackett Hall has multiple spacious lounges throughout the building where residents can socialize, study, and relax. Sackett lounges are equipped with cable TV, games, couches, and study areas, and are available to residents 24/7.
Laundry in Oregon State University residence halls is free for residents; no coins or cards are required.

Each resident room has a bin for trash and a bin for recycling. When the room bins are full, residents need to empty them in the building's trash and recycling areas.
Sackett offers double and triple rooms. There are seven different Sackett room configurations; many Sackett rooms come with sleeping porches, which are small separate rooms adjacent to the main living area which can be closed off for a quiet sleeping or study area.

Sackett beds can be bunked or lofted with a UHDS rental loft kit. Depending on the room configuration, many Sackett rooms come with beds that are already bunked or lofted with a complimentary bunk or loft kit.
Honors College: Sackett Hall is one of two homes for the Honors College Living-Learning Community, in addition to West Hall. Honors College students receive priority for placement in Sackett Hall. Honors students who wish to have roommates who are not in the Honors College may do so in Sackett Hall.

Professional Staff: Each hall has a professional staff member, who lives on campus, supervises student staff members, and is available to meet with students one-on-one for guidance and support.
Student Staff: A team of student staff members lives in Sackett Hall to assist residents.
