About University Catering

Our goal is to delight your senses and create a memorable event, while meeting your goals.

University Catering is comprised of professionals and students working together to provide an exceptional service for the Oregon State University campus.

We offer inspired cuisine for a variety of events including small intimate gatherings, business meetings, conferences, banquets, picnics, weddings and black tie affairs.

Our catering menu offers an excellent variety of culinary choices, prepared by our creative staff and served with professional flair. Our professional staff will also help you customize any menu to include a personal favorite or meet dietary restrictions or cultural preferences.


Professional Staff

Rebecca Ferber is the Catering Operations Manager, and longest running employee in Catering. She also helps plan events, and helps clients navigate the payment process at OSU.

Betsy Tulloss is a Banquet Manager and joined us after spending time with Hilton Hotels. Betsy is typically the first person a student meets when they interview for a catering job. She helps integrate them into the team.

Vicki Farris is a Banquet Manger who joined us after working for a variety of valley restaurants and Linfield College. Vicki is passionate about local wine and beer striving to stock those brands that came out of OSU.

Chef Ted Witte is a CIA grad and fine dining Chef who joined us after some time with Gathering Together Farm. He is a creative culinarian who enjoys making items from scratch and ensuring the flavors are just right.

Sous Chef Ryan C’deBaca is a native Oregonian and culinary grad that promoted into this position to pursue learning more about authentic food preparation. He keeps up on current trends and small plate cuisine.

Tony Arp and Max Deurloo-Willard are Foodservice Coordinators who can be found at our events across campus helping our students provide the high level of service the campus community expects.

University Housing & Dining Services, and Dining Services specifically, employs hundreds of student staff in a variety of locations, including: Arnold, McNary, Bing's at Weatherford, Marketplace West, Off the Quad, Cascadia Market & Café, and University Catering. Dining Services includes student positions in food preparation, retail food sales, dining operations, and customer service.
