University Housing & Dining Services seeks to provide a transformative on-campus experience that will engage our students in community, enrich their lives, and help them flourish and thrive. We understand that living on campus significantly influences academic and personal success. UHDS recognizes unforeseen financial hardship may jeopardize student success. To address this need, UHDS has created a grant program to support students in completing their academic journey at Oregon State University. UHDS will award grants of up to $1,500 per student once in an academic year. Distribution of funds will be based on availability, financial need, and successful completion of application.
To be eligible for the UHDS Retention Grant, a student must:
Be a student at Oregon State University.
Have financial need and an outstanding student account bill.
Be a resident of UHDS, living in a residence hall. Preference will be given to students currently living in or seeking to live in the most affordable room types (i.e., triple, economy triple, quad rooms).
Have accepted reasonable forms of financial aid.
Be in good academic standing with the university, GPA 2.0+.
Be in good conduct standing with OSU and UHDS.
We accept applications on a rolling basis until week 5 of the spring term.
