Laundry in Oregon State University residence halls is free for residents; no coins or cards are required.
Each resident room has a bin for trash and a bin for recycling. When the room bins are full, residents need to empty them in the building's trash and recycling areas.

Adventure Living-Learning Community: The Adventure LLC, a partnership with the Adventure Leadership Institute, allows residents to gain leadership skills while exploring Oregon's varied landscapes. By attending a variety of courses and programs including adventure trips, skill workshops, and social gatherings, students develop lifelong leadership qualities in combination with environmental ethics and outdoor skills. The Adventure LLC is open to students from any major and is located on the second floor.
Earth2OSU Community: If you care about our planet – whether through advocacy, activism, personal choice or professional pursuit – E2O is an opportunity for you to connect with like-minded students and make a difference on campus and in the community. Earth2OSU is organized by the College of Earth, Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences, but is open to students from any major and any college. The Earth2OSU community is located on the third floor of Finley.
ROTC Floor: Students who participate in the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) have the opportunity to live with other ROTC students who adhere to the same rigorous schedule. The ROTC Community is located on the seventh floor of Finley Hall.
Professional Staff: Each hall has a professional staff member who lives on campus, supervises student staff members, and is available to meet with students one-on-one for guidance and support.
Student Staff: A team of student staff members lives in Finley Hall to assist residents.
