Eligibility: Students who are pre-business majors are encouraged to live in Weatherford to be a part of the Innovation Nation living-learning community.

Room details
Weatherford beds can be bunked or lofted. Many Weatherford double and triple rooms come with beds that are pre-bunked or pre-lofted with a complimentary bunk or loft kit.
Kitchens
- All Weatherford residents have access to a full kitchen on the ground floor that's equipped with an oven, stovetop, full-size refrigerator, freezer and sink.
- Check with the hall staff to see what amenities are available at the desk, which might include additional cooking equipment or games.
- In addition, each floor has a shared microwave for resident use.
- The kitchen is available for resident use 24/7.
Lounges
- Weatherford Hall has a TV/theater room and a recreation room on the ground floor, as well as additional lounges and study rooms thoughout the building.
- Lounges are equipped with cable TV, games, and spaces to study, socialize and relax.
- Lounges and study rooms are available for resident use 24/7.

Laundry Room
Laundry in Oregon State University residence halls is free for residents; no coins or cards are required.
- The Weatherford Hall laundry room is located on the ground floor in the central (C wing) part of the building, near the doorway that leads to the lawn behind the building.
- Residents should bring their own laundry soap and other supplies.
- Liquid detergent is preferred.
- Laundry pods must be placed in the washer itself.
- Use the Campus CleanPay app to monitor laundry status. (App set-up instructions are posted on site.)
Trash and Recycling
Each resident's room has a bin for trash and a bin for recycling. When the room bins are full, residents need to empty them in the building's trash and recycling areas.
- Bottles, cans and paper: recycle these items inside, in the gray metal recycling bins around the building.
- There is one recycling unit on the ground floor across from the mailboxes.
- There is one recycling unit on the ground floor near the doors to the outdoor trash compactor.
- Corrugated cardboard: recycle cardboard outside, in the cardboard bin on the north side of the building, in the brick-walled enclosure along the Jefferson Way sidewalk.
- Trash: empty your trash can outside, in the trash compactor on the north side of the building, in the brick-walled enclosure along the Jefferson Way sidewalk.

West side neighborhood
The bustling west side neighborhood features Buxton, Cauthorn, Hawley, Poling, Sackett, Weatherford and West residence halls. Dining options abound in this neighborhood with Marketplace West dining center, the Memorial Union, Bing’s Café at Weatherford, Trader Bing’s and Dixon Café all nearby.
For indoor or outdoor fitness and recreation options, the west side offers outdoor sport fields, tennis courts, and the Dixon Rec Center which includes gyms, courts, a climbing center, fitness studios, an indoor track and an aquatics center.
In the middle of it all, the Memorial Union hosts a regular lineup of events and art displays, and offers printing services, an ATM, and access to banking services. It’s also home to MU Lanes & Games, a student-run recreation facility that includes bowling, billiards, arcade games and a gaming lounge!

Living-Learning Communities
Innovation Nation: Weatherford Hall is part of Innovation Nation, the community for pre-business students. Students with pre-business majors are encouraged to live in Innovation Nation. Students in Innovation Nation have access to a high-tech makerspace, and social events and symposiums with executives and entrepreneurs. You’ll even take some of your classes in your residence hall, including the Fall Term B-Engaged course and the two-course Innovation Nation series.
Hall Staff
Professional Staff: Each hall has a professional staff member who lives on campus, supervises student staff members, and is available to meet with students one-on-one for guidance and support.
Student Staff: A team of student staff members lives in Weatherford Hall to assist residents.
