About The Gem

The Gem is an apartment building primarily serving upper division and graduate students at Oregon State University. The building features 231 apartments. Most units are studios but there are a limited number of one-bedroom apartments. The facility, which is owned by Oregon State, was originally built in the mid-1960s and is named for the university’s first college newspaper.

 

    

Apartment types

The Gem includes a number of studio apartments including small, standard, large and extra-large studios, as well as one-bedroom apartments.

 

  

Amenities

All apartments at The Gem come fully furnished with air conditioning. High-speed internet and all utilities are included. The building features on-site laundry and shared lounges on every floor.

Location

The Gem is located at 155 NW Kings Ave. in Corvallis, just across Monroe Street from the north side of Oregon State's Corvallis campus.

It's nearby many of Oregon State's primary academic buildings and surrounded by local restaurants and coffee shops.

Grocery stores, convenience stores, parks and public transit stops are all within half a mile of The Gem.
