How does the elections process work?

All interested candidates must submit an application within the application window. The Elections Committee will review all applications, and offer interviews to all candidates meeting the requirements as outlined within the RHA Constitution. Following the interviews, a Town Hall open to all campus residents will be held where each candidate gives a short speech and has a period of questioning. At the Town Hall, attendees will provide feedback on each of the candidates. Elections Committee will then review the applications, interviews, and feedback and make recommendations for each positions, as well as list all suitable alternates. A vote will then be held to officially fill the positions; however, to vote, residents must have attended the Town Hall.

For any questions about the elections, please contact RHA at rha@oregonstate.edu.
