Graduate student housing at OSU is designed to give you a living environment designed to fit the needs of OSU graduate students while offering flexible contracts and private spaces, within walking distance to academic buildings at OSU. Graduate students can live in a graduate-specific community in Halsell Hall, or choose from other on-campus locations.
Halsell Hall is exclusively for second year and above students. It offers suite-style rooms, with either two or four bedrooms sharing a common area with kitchenette, living room, and one-and-a-half bathrooms. The fourth floor, west wing of Halsell Hall is entirely graduate students. Suites in Halsell are not assigned by gender; students may share suites with suitemates of any gender.
Graduate students can sign a term-by-term contract for Halsell Hall, paying only for the terms they intend to stay on campus. Room rate and dining plan information available for this specific community on page two of the UHDS rate sheet.
In addition to these amenities, you’ll be steps from Southside Station at Arnold and Cascadia Market, featuring grab & go items, pantry staples and local, organic produce and ingredients to prepare your own meals.
