When you complete part 1 of the application will determine when you are eligible for online roommate matching.

Online roommate matching is optional. Housing staff will assign a roommate to students who choose not to select their own roommate.

We will have two roommate matching phases this year.

Tuesday, April 1, 2026: Contract Available

Students must sign their housing contract by June 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. in order to avoid a delay in receiving their room assignment.

This includes a parent/guardian signature if student is under 18 at the time of signing their housing contract.

The contract will continue to be available after June 30, 2026, but students who complete the contract after June 30 may see a delay in receiving their room assignment.

Current students
Review the dates and descriptions below to better understand how your housing application completion date impacts when you'll receive your room selection time slot and your eligibility for roommate selection.
Feb. 3, 2026, at 2 p.m.: Residence hall housing application opens for all current students
- Students that attend the Second Year & Above Kickoff event on Jan. 27 will receive early access to the housing application at 10 a.m. on Jan. 30.
- Applicants will be given an individual time slot to select a room based on the completion date of part 1 of the housing application and space available.
- Students that receive a time slot will have the option to participate in roommate matching beginning Feb. 6.
- Starting Feb. 17 students with a time slot may select a room and sign the contract.
- The application will remain open for current students to complete part one until 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2026.

Room Selection Notification
- Students who apply by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5 can expect to receive an update on the status of their application no later than Thursday, Feb. 12.
- Students who apply for second year and above housing will have their applications reviewed and approved on a rolling basis as space becomes available.
Transfer students
Residence hall housing application opens: Feb. 3, 2026, at 2 p.m.
