Dear students and families,

We are pleased to welcome you to the OSU and on-campus community. University Housing and Dining Services (UHDS) is committed to providing our residents with a living and dining environment that will be both enriching and enjoyable, as well as support your academic pursuits.

Research demonstrates living environments within the residence halls provide significant opportunities for students to transition to collegiate life through academic support services and staff support. First-year students who live in a residence hall at OSU typically have higher average GPAs and are more likely to return for their second year of college. In addition, on-campus students demonstrate higher graduation rates along with the positive aspects of living in community during the first year of college.

Our residents come from many parts of the state, country and world. You will have the opportunity to learn, build lasting friendships, and benefit from being conveniently located near your classes.  You can enjoy dining in one of our restaurants and coffee shops, and interacting with our dedicated staff members – here to serve and support you. Living on-campus can be the Experience of a Lifetime, and we look forward to knowing you!
